Trish Bonney, Principal Designer/Owner of TAB Interior Designs, is a skilled and innovative interior designer focused on collaboration and communication with her clients to create spaces specifically for each individual project. She is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and earned her degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. Trish established her career first by serving as an active duty member of the United States Air Force where she earned her Bachelors and Masters of Education. During her time at The Art Institute, she interned at a variety of high-profile design firms and eventually was employed as a project manager where she worked under designers with a combined experience of over 50 years. Trish has also worked in a commercial architecture and design firm which added to her tool box of design skills.
Trish founded her own Interior Design firm in 2016 where her focus is serving her clients. Trish works on projects of all sizes, from complete design services to simple color consults. For Trish, design is not just her career path, but her passion. She loves making new relationships and enjoys greatly the various experiences that design involves. Originally from Vermont, Trish was afforded the opportunity to live and travel all over the world while in the military. Her adventures allow for more enlightened and progressive design results. Trish finds joy and gratification in ensuring that her designs are not only functional, but comfortable for each individual client’s needs through the inspirations of everyday life.
I was born in Colorado, but spent 15 years of my life in Ohio. I am a proud alumni of The Culver Academies (high school) & Bowling Green State University (undergrad) where I received my BA in Interior Design with a minor in Marketing. Upon moving to Denver in 2013, I gained a great amount of experience by working in the retail design world at Restoration Hardware & Jonathan Adler. With both these companies being on opposite ends of the design spectrum, I worked with a variety of clients & learned how to properly assess their needs and wants. I love design because it allows me to build great relationships with great people and create spaces they feel comfortable in and love to come home to. In my free time, I love spending time with my best friend, Baxter, who also happens to be my dog, updating and taking pictures for my fashion blog Inherited Budget, and soaking up the sun in my backyard.
