It depends almost entirely on scope: whether walls or plumbing move, which cabinet line you choose, and the counters and appliances. A cosmetic refresh and a full gut renovation can differ by a factor of three or more. On the first call we will ask about your budget range so the design is drawn to fit it, not priced after the fact.
Most of the calendar is design and ordering, not construction. Cabinetry lead times drive the schedule, so we order before demolition. Once products are here, a bathroom is typically a few weeks on site and a kitchen several weeks to a couple of months, depending on what moves.
Often, yes. Some of our favorite bathrooms kept the parts that were still good and changed the rest. One client wanted to keep the shower, floor and vanity, and we designed around them to give the room the spa feel they were after.
Yes. Curbless showers, wider doorways, better lighting, easy-reach storage and grab bars that look like part of the design are all things we plan in when you tell us you want to stay in the home for the long run.
